So what do we do?

As well as our blog being an interesting and useful spot to browse over morning coffee, it's also acting as a stop-gap whilst our website is offline for an overhaul. Until its relaunch later this year, we realise that there is nowhere for people to access our plant list or information on our services, so we've posted it here!

Pre Press
Our team keep things sleek in the Reprographics Department, utilising an Agfa Apogee workflow with Digital Proofing through to CTP and Xerox Digital Printing. We can output pretty much any file type from both PC and Mac platforms, and also offer our own Mac-based artwork and type-setting service.

Print
Our dedicated and experienced minders work double day shifts keeping the following presses well oiled and running at an optimum...

Heidelberg Speedmaster 74-5 P prints 5 colours up to B2
Heidelberg Speedmaster 74-4 P prints 4 colours up to B2
Heidelberg GTOZ prints two colours up to sheet size B3
Heidelberg Cylinder, 22 1/2 x 32 1/4 -
for die-cutting, perforating, cutting & creasing of folders & book jackets etc, up to a sheets size of B2
Heidelberg Platen, 10 x 15 -
for creasing, die-cutting & perforating up to a sheet size of 10 x 15

Finishing
Having our own finishing department enables us to deal with the majority of our work in-house. Not having to rely on outside sources means we are well equipped to meet demanding deadlines. Our seven members of the finishing team manage the following equipment:

Stahl Folder folds numerous configurations up to SRA1
2 Polar Guillotines
Muller Valore Saddle Stitcher with 4 collating stations and Cover Folder Feeder
Camco Stitcher
Perfect Binding Line
Shrink Wrapping
Wiro Binding

Our unique hand finishing abilites enable us to handle those quirky, complicated and fiddly jobs that other printers may laugh at! We also have years of experience in despatching books, magazines and various other forms of printed matter nationally and globally.

Deliveries
We have a recently updated, and eyecatching, fleet of vehicles which cover local deliveries up to a 100 mile radius. For those who are further afield we use a nationwide carrier for next day national delivery to any location throughout the UK.
